Society

a
glider
club operating out of Pangborn Airport in
Wenatchee, WA from March through November. CSS is located at one of the
most spectacular soaring sites in the Western United States

CBSA
promotes
soaring
in
the
Columbia Basin of Southeastern Washington
State. Soaring activities are primarily conducted at the Richland
Airport in the Tri-Cities.

Club
operates
in
Vernon, located 4-5 hours north of
Ephrata.
The WVSC is an Oregon non-profit organization
promoting the sport of soaring. The club operates out of North Plains,
OR (5 miles NW of Hillsboro (HIO)) and at Hood River, OR (in the
Columbia Gorge). The North Plains field is open generally from early
Spring to late fall; Hood River is flyable year-round. The club owns 3
tow planes (including a 2-place Pawnee) and several gliders (Lark,
Junior, 1-23, 1-26, 2-33's). Approximately 20 members own private
ships.

valley. Located just 25 minutes north of the Whistler Mountain Ski
Resort in British Columbia, the sailport is a two hour drive from
Vancouver, north on the Sea to Sky Highway.
